MOFF – Kölner Künstler im Gespräch (Cologne artists in conversation) is considered a representative cross-section of the Cologne art scene, each issue containing eight to twelve talks. The magazine was founded in 2010 by the artist Stefanie Klingemann and the art historian Anne Schloen. Ever since, MOFF has renounced branding, a logo, or a corporate identity. Every issue is designed anew with a new team that is put together and consisting of artists, graphic designers, art historians and photographers from Cologne. Thus the magazine is constantly evolving. We opted for a reduced design that features two types of magazine papers and high contrast between black planes and white spaces to make the talks stand out.
